Well, Moss was not feeling good last month. He seems to be sick every couple of months, and have diarrhoea. So, vet decided to have an allergy test the same as what Willow had done a few years ago.
Willow is allergic to, Beef, Lamb, Soya and Milk
We go Moss’s test back and he is allergic to, Beef, Lamb, Duck, Pork, Chicken, Turkey and Wheat. Smallest percentage is chicken and turkey.
One day Moss had blood from the back end, and I freaked out. I ran back to the vet, and I was upset. So they got me an appointment that day to go to the University hospital in Glasgow. Whilst walking up hill from vets to car, Moss was running about as if nothing was wrong. I still went and got it all checked out.
Moss was sitting in the car rather chilled as if looking at me and wondering what was wrong with me.
They checked him out and there was nothing serious. I can’t remember exactly but something expands when he eats something that doesn’t agree with him. I think it then bursts and that is where the blood at the back end comes from. Moss has a hyper sensitive stomach.
Altogether this cost me nearly £1000, just as well I am insured.
So after the incident with the rabbit buried, the next day Moss was sick, and Diarrhoea. Next day, only thing that came out of his back end was blood, all day. Moss had to take anti-biotic tablets for a few days. Well, at least we know who the guilty party with the rabbit in the garden is.
So I have to change his dinner also. Both bags cost £40, not cheap. But to find none of the ingredients in the dry and tinned food, which Moss is allergic to, was impossible. We found one bag. Then I have to watch that neither swaps bowls, happens often.
Willow, at start of this year was strange happenings. I bought a plant, which had a lovely smell and I put it in one of the rooms. Somehow, later one, Willow started taking mild fits. They did not reach any seizure, but she sat on the seat shaking and panting heavily. It is upsetting and I could not understand, because Willow only takes small seizures once every 25 to 30 weeks. One day, a booklet from the epilepsy group was delivered to my door. I read some of the paragraph, and one read, some scents from plants could set epilepsy off.
I removed the plant, and Willow has not taken any seizures since February. So there you go, I was surprised, just goes to show. I phoned to explain the dilemma and thanked them.
