Another reason why all has not heard from me, I have been in and out of doctors, out of my face on painkillers, and in and out of hospital.
I passed my driving test in 1993, in Glasgow, first time eh! Not bad!!!
Since driving my right leg has been going into spasms, you can feel the muscle pounding.
My doctor in Glasgow in 1993, just said it was just due to the car accident.
You see when I was 12 years old, I was hit by a car, can’t remember anything, but both legs were broken, hip and face nerves damaged. Fine, I can live with that.
Time moves on, but it always seems to be if any problem I have, due to the accident. I am starting to get pissed off here, as in 1997, the pain became worse.
So in 1997, my neck became swollen and acne started. Then my stomach swollen out and I end up screaming. It disappeared for a year.
In 1999, the leg was still sore, and the stomach started again. I am screaming, been checked for appendix so many times, been given so many sachet for doing the toilet. After a point, I stopped and changed doctors.
When the stomach starts to swell, it looks as if I am 9 months pregnant, then what is more worse, the right leg. The whole muscle goes hard, expands and I am screaming. The neighbours have heard me, it feels as if someone is knifing my leg and sliding it up to my stomach.
Maybe someone has a doll with my picture!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So I was told,
“It’s arthritis”, constantly.
I got pain killers, co-ordomol, highest dose, but months on, they stopped working, or they didn’t start working until an hour later, by that time, I am screaming in agony. So I took 6 of them, within half an hour. First 2 didn’t work, took another 2 10 minutes later, no still screaming, and took another 2. Near the hours, you can feel the stabbing slowing down, the slicing became smaller and smaller. Then with so many tablets, I fell asleep. I look like a complete zombie, and people keep out of my way, because I am severely crabby.
Few points I have been sick for 2 days, so don’t know whether it was the new pain killer tablet or I took to many.
“arthritis”, here is more painkillers.
One of the nurses handed me a card to see a private osteopath, Mr MacKenzie. So I went to see him, and I explained. I said to him, that please do not just say it’s due to my accident, because that happened 24 years ago, and I will scream. One point he did see my screaming, because the pain started once when I just left.
So Mr Mackenzie felt the leg, and noticed something not right. So he wrote to my Doctors and asked for an x-ray.
So after all these years, it all came out. My right leg bone did not join together when broken. So as it happened at 12 years old, the bone was not fixed properly. Being 12, the bones are still growing, it has been growing around each other, and part of the bone is sticking out into the muscle.
My osteopath said it’s the worse he has seen on any damaged leg, completely in a mess, dysfunctional, whatever you call it.
It really pisses me off, when Doctors don’t take you serious.
One doctor years ago actually said to me, "are you sure it's not all in your head", 
I can’t blame my doctor, as he was dragged into this halfway. I probably blame the earlier ones who were there when all started.
One doctor, whilst I tried contraception, I came up with blisters all over my chest, you are not going to believe what one said to me, no not the doctor I have just now, he is alright, another one, her comment was,
"Are you washing yourself properly, this is how you wash yourself", you know I what have happily got done for assault.
When I stopped the boils disappeared.
Seems to me that no one really does listen anymore.

My Doctor told me my leg can become worse, and not sure about the back. But due to one leg bone not fixed properly the spine has moved more to one side.
Och well! such is life, Osteopth did say, as I have strong muscle in my leg due to hill walking, the bone is not causing too much damage at the moment.
I can live with that!!!!
Next bit of news! I will need to thank my Dentist in Inverness, Ms Wallace, and my doctor as he helped push the problem.
All the time going to dentist, not one had noticed. My gum has been hurting, let’s see, since 1993. It is as if gum has a migraine, but no one noticed.
When I came back to fort William, local dentist made a mess, so I decided to use one in Inverness. Academy Dentist, the lady there, she is lovely. I have never seen a prettier person than her.
Whilst fixing the mess Fort William dentist done, she asked for me to close mouth, and asked if comfy. I said nope, she filed down, asked again, I said “nope”. Then she said to me,
“Close mouth”, looked at the front. I still remember her face,
She leaned back and said,
“Oh my god”, I am saying
“What now”, I am starting to freak out.
Where all the pain has actually come from and every other problem, my bottom teeth are 1mm from the roof of my mouth. When I close mouth, you cannot see my bottom teeth. She said this is far beyond her expectation, she couldn’t do anything, the bottom teeth has been smacking the top teeth. She tried to file the tooth so it was not being hit, but she said it’s all a bit late.
Next month, the root burst, she can’t put crown, bridge in, as the bottom teeth will damage, in fact she mentioned when the mouth is closed it actually fills the hole where the root burst. So what she has done is very clever. For the moment, is filled the part of tooth in, and filed away from bottom.
I remember the Glasgow hospital in 1995, mentioned a brace, as my mouth is too narrow for my teeth. No comments please!!!!! As on my right side the K9, could not fit in space and the tooth next to the two fronts was pushed right behind.
But the problem now the tooth next to that is last on its legs, as it is damaged. She sent me to Inverness hospital, and all he suggested was break my jaw and push forward.
Not too keen on that idea.
I spoke to my doctor and he helped to get me back to Glasgow hospital, which I need to thank him for this. It’s a long waiting list. My dentist wrote a letter to them.
Recently, now on the other side, the tooth next to the two fronts has chipped, and when I close mouth you can see how the bottom teeth just cover the space.
What a mess, so my bottom teeth are worn right down, now recently due to bite, one of my back teeth had split in half.
I finally got to Glasgow hospital, and the consultant put me to the orthodontist. Consultant took x-ray, and sent them. So finally I went to see this orthodontist, if you read the last story on “One leak or two”. Appointment 9am!
The lady there looking, open, shut, open, shut, and after a while called Mr Cross. On this part, need to tell you all something funny!
The letter to me read ‘Cross orthodontist’, and I showed the dentist, and she never heard of a cross orthodontist either, said to mention whilst there and let her know.
So I asked the lady looking at my teeth, what a cross orthodontist was, ‘ an orthodontist that’s pissed off’. She said no, it’s the name of the orthodontist.
I told dentist, she burst out laughing, and the letter didn’t say Mr Cross orthodontist.
“Oh well, well done Zena, that is a good start, put your foot right in”.
She Mr Cross had a look, both were fiddling about. Open, shut, Open, shut, it went for a while. Looked at the side, not sure, looked at the other side not sure, looked again. Here is what he said,
“The brace cannot fix the problem, because even if the teeth is pushed back, the rest of the teeth cannot sit on anything won’t meet. So I have to send you back to consultant. We need to build both teeth up first, then put brace on which can take years”.
Forgot to say, also the gap for the teeth next to the two front is not wide enough, since the K9 on right is further down now, it has pushed the two next and the one on other side. So the two small ones will be taken out, and the brace at the end.
The other note he has said to me,
“We will need an impression of your mouth, and you will need to wear a metal plate in your mouth to stop any more damage “.
Doesn’t life get worse!!!!!
But whilst the trainee was taking an impression, the small tooth that is on last legs, I noticed with their eyes going wider and eyebrows lifting, that when they were taking the impression out the tooth moved.
The Orthodontist took the x-ray away, and came back with a big grin on his face,
“Take a look at this Tam have you ever seen anything like it”.
You can see all the teeth totally crooked.
On the way home the gum above the tooth was pounding, the next day the tooth was moving. I was a bit in pain, so I phoned dentist in Inverness.
It’s fixed now, but a long red line from the top of gum right in the middle of the tooth appeared.
If they are not sorted out shortly, the dentist said, this tooth is gone and on the other side is going to split in half!!!!
What a great life eh!!!!!
Two days later, got the ticket from police, read story “one leak or two”.
But I would like to thank my doctor for writing the letter, and pushing it forward for me.
Good night I am off to bed!!!!!
