I went out 2 weeks ago in October, since it's usually quiet for business at this time of year. So off I went down the town, and popped into the Glen Nevis pub. I saw a crowd from Ireland,there was Shinty playing locally, but I didn't watch, not my scene. They all came in, and you can tell you were a bit drunk, but watching was rather amusing. I was just dancing with some Indian guy and Spanish guy, one was a bit over keen, but dancing was fun. One of the Irish guys was nice. In fact, he looked very much the spitting image of my ex. A bit freaky, luckily he was interested in this other female, very pretty she was. The fact is, think they were interested in every female, but it was fun. 
Since he looked similar to ex, best he stays over there. He was tall, fair hair, very good looking guy,but take note, remember the ex story 2 years ago. I just may end up in trouble if he talks to me,bit of a weak spot.  So I carried on with these 2 mad guys, all went well, good fun. All of a sudden, this guy came up to talk to me, the one that looked identical to my ex.
"Oh heck!", I thought. I have to admit he was nice, but there is always a 'but'. I asked his age, and he was 25, last one was only 2 years younger. I was uneasy about that, thinking he might not be mature enough, (keep eye on perfect man) but bloody heck I thought, they are getting younger every time, or am I getting older. It gets worse, his name was James, and my ex from Glasgow was called James. In fact, in Glasgow you will always meet a James, Jim, whatever, somewhere. He kept saying he was really interested, etc, etc, so I done what I usually do for every guy who is drunk flirting. What I do is, give them a card and say to them, "Give me a phone tomorrow, if still interested". It's a lot safer, then taking them home and getting to know them when they are drunk, but you can tell, they really aren't interested in getting to know you.
You know, they never do ring you the next day, firstly due to them being drunk, and secondly, they are only really looking for quick shag. 
Somehow, one of his friends was talking to him, and they both disappeared. So I carried on dancing, having a laugh with these nutcases. Now another one was looking over,but he was dancing with this small teeny bop, she noticed he was looking over,and you can guess it didn't go down to well.So guess what she done, she moved in the middle, and started doing a stupid dance behind me, think she was trying to mock me. If it was suppose to bother me it didn't. In fact, I really felt sorry for her. Maybe it was due to her not getting chatted up or maybe she is having problems getting attention. But to stoop that low, to get noticed, I find that rather desperate. Next she tried to pull me somewhere. I just put hands up in front and sort of politely told her to go away. Every one of them was getting fresh with every female,looking for a quick bonk, and she is bothered about him not looking at her. It gets sadder every time I go out. If you are that desperate for a bonk, go and stand on Glasgow streets, at least you would make money from it. Sometimes when you go into these pubs, it feels like walking into a public house nursery. I mean why she didn't start stamping her feet and throwing her handbag about. It would have suited her better. I am a great believer in, ?If it was meant to be it won't miss you?. If he is for you, he won't go by you. 
I learned this lesson at a very young age, when I fancied someone when I was in early teens. He never noticed me, wouldn't have given me a second glance, even though we were friends. Later on in time, he got fresh with me behind girlfriends back, and he became a heavy drinker, so he wasn't what I thought, a bit of a rat. I always believe, there may be a really good rational reason why he hadn't noticed. Maybe your spirit might be protecting you. In fact, maybe in the future you just might be grateful, he never noticed you at all. Someone somewhere was looking after me. Would you not rather be with a guy who notices you, without going out of your way to get noticed? Would it not give you more security, that this one guy notices you in a crowd? Bigger question is, "How do you feel, when the guy you are with has only picked you through second choice".
