Found out the start of this year, that willow is allergic to, Beef, Lamb, Soya beans, and Milk. We are not sure whether this is the reason why Willow takes fits every few months. So it started April, which was when willow had last fit.
But what recently I find strange, willow takes fit always after being in the garden. On April morning, I went round the back to hang washing out. Willow looked across next door garden and suddenly stopped. As I was walking to the door, I knew something was wrong with her, because she was walking round me. We got inside and she took a fit. She just pants very heavily, and shakes very badly, lasts about 20 minutes. Same day, I went to collect washing, she looked across same place, suddenly stunned and moved to the fence opposite, and would not move until I returned to house. I heard recently that the neighbour along, her brother died a while ago, and he was always in the garden, he was very much a gardener.
So I decided not to let her out the garden and change the food to Well Beloved dog food.
I fed both dogs the same food, it's not cheap either, £37 for 15kg. Ouch!!! I have to feed both the same, as Moss's old food has all four items. Both dogs seem to do food swapping, checking what each one has. But Moss ended up in Vets last month, due to him badly constipating. So I have to return Moss to his old food.
Willow took a fit on 1st August, 2 weeks after changing Moss. Reason could be because they don't eat it straight away, they sometimes eat late at night. Sometimes when I not watching they swap plates. Now I have to watch both, if they don't eat it there and then, I removed the bowls until later on.
All the fun of having 2 lovely dogs.
