I decided a month ago, to walk on the wall which connects from Cairn Dearg to Ben Nevis. But half way up it got misty, started so I will finish. But I did not go any further than Cairn Dearg top point, because I was not sure about the path which goes to Ben Nevis. So week later, I went back up, and my original decision was to walk walk way down the wall to the mountaineering hut. But whilst sitting at the top of Cairn Dearg, I saw an old lady and I was amazed, walking up the Ben then to Cairn Dearg. I stood at the peak of the wall, and looked down. My original plan was to walk down to the hut, but everyone was going the Ben Nevis way, so I um!!!! Ah!!! Stood for 10 minutes, and I thought well if an old lady can do it, so can I. Finally got to the top of Ben Nevis, climbed rocks and path was difficult at the back. Not the right shoes to wear, feet was killing me. Since it was a nice day, sorry, but I climbed up in my underwear. It was scorching. I walked down the path facing Glen Nevis, but I really don't like the path. It is sore on feet, path very stony, if you loose concentration you would easily sprain ankle, and I have a very weak left ankle, reason why is walking long way I need to wear ankle boots. I left at 12pm and finished at 915pm. Moss sore, Willow sore and myself. When I got home, my whole right side of body was burnt, and the when the bra was taking off, you can see the exact pattern, it look dreadful. Another situation where bite of more than I can chew, but accomplished. |
