A month later, after doing all this climbing, I lost a stone. I think if anyone wants to lose weight, I think Munro, Mountain, large Hill climbing does it better. I don't like gyms, seeing a mirror in front of you, I could think of better things to look at, and all these fitness fanatics panting away, all you are seeing is brick walls. I can never understand the idea of gyms. You walk out of a gym not really accomplished anything in 2 hours, and just waiting for the weight loss.
Even if you don't see weight loss that day when you are climbing, you have accomplished the top of a Munro, Mountain, Hill, and you are also seeing the mostly fascinating views in your life. All you think about is the view. When you look up and see what you have climbed, it lifts your heart, and I can bet you have a big smile, having reached the top of whatever it is called.
So you have accomplished two things, weight loss, and reaching the top of a mountain, Munro, etc, which you probably pass every day, don't even notice them there. |
